Raceclubs - Virtual Horse Racing Game
Raceclubs is a clone site of Digiturf, run by the same people but catered more towards players from the UK & Great Britain.
The brand has been heavily marketed in the UK and thus enjoys a large UK member base although anyone is welcome to sign up and play. In fact many owners have stables at both Digiturf & Raceclubs and note that there are small differences between the two sites such as the level of competition in some races.
Raceclubs also run their own horse racing calendar which again means there are fictional jockeys and races, and no breeding program to take part in. However they do have regular auctions where you can buy and sell your horses.
Although the site started several years after Digiturf was launched, for some reason the total prize money on offer in the upcoming season surpasses that of its sister website, and stands at $490,480. Upon closer inspection of activity in the forums, it looks like Raceclubs members have contributed about double the number of discussions on the Raceclubs forum. The poms sure love to chat!
