Belmont Stakes - Horse Racing Triple Crown

The third and final race in the Triple Crown series is the Grade I Belmont Stakes, held at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. The race is run on a dirt track over one and a half miles in June and is the longest of the three races that make up the horse racing Triple Crown. This race is often the most challenging for the three year old horses as they rarely run this distance this early in their careers.
